THE BROADMOOR CAT BURGLAR IS BACK

In 2002 the Broadmoor Area was the victim of a cat burglar who terrorized the entire Broadmoor Area and successfully did 70 burglaries that we are aware of.

It came to the attention of BIS that the suspect in these cases was released from prison a year and a half early and was paroled back to Colorado Springs and is currently staying in a halfway house in the south end of the city.  Within days of his release he was arrested for theft.  The general concern is, he will return to the Broadmoor Area where he was most successful and resume his activity.

He always targeted homes with open windows and doors, so let's be aware and careful about the security of our homes.
